The Giver creation, an art Commission for Childsplay new season

I got a great time doing this piece, this is the first time I do an art commission for a theater company and for a play; it was a good experience.
The Giver is very special, unique and  very different story that I really like it and made me appreciate more what I got.
I recommend the novel and if you got the chance to see the play, it would start on September this year till 2013 on Childsplay theater company. My painting is the image that would represent the play on prints, website and promotional's of the play.

Art Portfolio / Presentation at Arredondo Elementary School

I just finished this movie and I got a lot of fun doing it; looking at the pieces that I had created transported me to good and not so good memories where I was using the color to liberate all kinds of feelings.
With the time I started to understand me more and I realized who I am and what I needed to paint.

My biggest inspiration the Old Grand Parents or Native Ancient Mexican Cultures, the commitment comes from the Masters Mexican Muralists like Siqueiros and my direction to share my creations with the US and the world...

This is my presentation at Arredondo Elementary School in Tempe.

Onda 1190am Interview and Exhibit at 6th Ave. Gallery in Phoenix

Another one-of-a-kind stiletto design inspired by Oliverio Balcells titled "Ollin Aqua," the symbol of Ollin represent movement-motion, it's the era we're living right now, the brilliant blue represents the water and the perfect contrast with the shoe. This particular element reflects the actual woman's life of motion and always taking care and giving life as the water.

The landscape from my state Jalisco Mexico

Jalisco comes from the Nahuatl word of XALIXCO that means: In the extension of sand. Xalli = Sand, Ixco = On the surface).
The views from Xalixco are incredible, inspirational and dreamlike; my favorite part are the big clouds, clear blue skies and fog on the way to the pacific.
This picture was taken on my mom's town of Zapotlan.

Mill Avenue District Utility Box & Tempe Public Library Card

With this piece called “Tempe Roots” I'm representing the ancient history of the city of Tempe starting with the Hohokam culture making honor to their native place and for being the builders of the water canals that have a direct connection with the Rio Salado.
The Hohokam are represented by their own petroglyphs and by the classic Toltec symbols of the corn, beans and squash. The concentrical circles represent their world and this symbol is where the water of the Rio Salado comes from.

The next important image are the three Mexican farmers that dug out the irrigation canals and built new ones to carry Salt River water to their fields to supply food for the Fort McDowell and mining towns. They founded the town called San Pablo east of Tempe Butte.

The main image is the Tempe Butte representing the unique characteristic of the city; this one is covered with images of the Hohokam's petroglyphs including the A for the Arizona State University.

The sun comes from the classic Mixtec cultural images with its original colors that reflect the Valley of the Sun.

The cactus plants and the rattlesnake from the bottom are part of the desert's vegetation that complements the whole concept of the place.
